Introducing the LintEater® Rotary Dryer Vent Cleaning System
I've tried out at least 7 different D.I.Y. kits that are available for purchase on the internet. The LintEater® Dryer Vent Cleaning Kit is the best one that I've found for occasional residential use. You can try the cheaper Eastman, Lint Wizard, or one of the Temu kits, but it may not last through the first use. Their rods are very cheap quality and get twisted very easily. The brush heads are better quality in the LintEater set as well.
I've owned Professional Dryer Vent Cleaning Company for over 20 years, so I have a lot of experience in this field.

Sellers go through product pretty quick so these links may not always work. If not, just click on the Amazon button at the bottom of this page and do a search for Lint Eater. Other brands will also show up, but I only recommend the "LintEater" brand because it's the best quality D.I.Y. option you can get. There's also a button lock option that you can get. The rods snap together instead of screwing together. Over the years, some people have spun the drill in the wrong direction, disconnecting the rods in the vent pipe, then had to pay a professional vent cleaning company to retrieve it. The button-lock version may be a better option for some people. I just couldn't find it for sale at the time of making this page. You may be able to find it by clicking the Amazon button at the bottom, and searching for " LintEater Pro ".

If you have high ceilings, you may need to order the 24 foot kit or the 12 foot extension kit. The 24 foot kit is a better deal if it's available. I also have a few kits for sale if you want to get it directly from me.
